Driven by a desire to spark collective movements, the Obscura Digital team ‘Thinks Big’ when scaling tall buildings and bringing historic monuments to life such as the Empire State Building, a large-scale feat of light and technology “Illuminating the Plight of Endangered Species”.  Obscura Digital is a multi-media projection company and change-agent calling attention to some of the most pressing planetary issues facing future generations and millions of species evolving on Earth.  The digital media landscape is having a direct impact on the dream for a better world, thanks to visionary entertainment design companies, such as Obscura Digital.  Fifteen plus years ago, Travis Threlkel called Pacific Domes to test his camera. Christoper Lejeune and Threlkel talked for hours and Lejeune went to San Francisco to bring him a dome. They became great friends and partnered to co-found Obscura Digital. With uncompromising quality in large-scale projections, Obscura Digital has been on the cutting-edge, leading the way in partnership with forward-thinking pioneers and impacting various global arenas.  When it comes to creating themes & bringing them to life, the Obscura Digital close-knit family of artists, producers, coders, builders, and technologists blend their talents and genius into a unified collaborative creative vision.  “Once you break out of the rectilinear format, the observer is more open to understanding the heart of a message.  With projection you can influence people to see things in new ways,” says Threlkel, co-founder of Obscura Digital.
